The 2020-2021 begins my 3rd year here at Hannan Magnet Academy and my 28th year as an educator. I retired May 2018 with 25 years of experience in Alabama schools (Phenix City and Russell County). Most of my career was spent teaching kindergarten. I have also had experience teaching technology and as an instructional coach. As a graduate of Columbus State and Troy University, I am excited to continue giving back and serving the community which has given me so much.

My husband, Patrick, is an Auburn graduate (WAR EAGLE!) and is currently the Quality Control Superintendent at Continental Carbon Company. We have two wonderful children, Conner (14) and Allen (11). My daughter attends Columbus High School. My son is in 5th grade at St. Luke. We have 1 dog named Penny.
